May 11 2007: Gary McGuire visited the Nokia Research Lab in Helsinki and gave a presentation about the Claude Shannon Institute.

May 8-11 2007: Gary McGuire (UCD/CSI) and Nadya Markin (UCD/CSI) attended the Algorithmic Number Theory conference in Finland. Nadya Markin gave a talk entitled: Galois Groups with Minimal Ramification.

May 3 -12 2007: Gary McGuire (UCD/CSI) and Nadya Markin (UCD/CSI) visited the University of Turku in Finland to collaborate with the team at Turku on Space Time Coding.

May 2-3 2007: Gary McGuire was an invited speaker at the Third International Workshop on Boolean Functions, Cryptography and Applications held in Paris and delivered two talks entitled:
1. Discrete Mathematics, Coding and Cryptography and the Claude Shannon Institute
2. An Application of Stickelberger’s Theorem to Boolean Functions

Weekly Group Meetings were held in UCD in the areas of Elliptic Curve Cryptography, Space Time Codes, Costas Arrays, Boolean Functions and LDPC Codes.
