Thesis: ‘The ugliest symphony’

Scott Rickard (CSI) will supervise a final year Electronic Engineering project entitled ‘The ugliest symphony’ which involves the use of Costas arrays to create really, really ugly music. Costas arrays is one of the research themes at CSI.

Gerard Murphy (CSI) wins the best poster award

Gerard Murphy (CSI) won the best poster award for his paper entitled "Efficient Implementation of Authenticated Key Establishment in Wireless Sensor Networks", in the IET Irish Signals and System Conference, 13-14 September 2007. The paper was also published in the IET Proceedings of ISSC 2007.

CSI to host Public Lecture by Professor Joseph Silverman

On the evening of September 4th CSI will host a Public Lecture on The Ubiquity of Elliptic Curves which is to be given by Professor Joseph Silverman from Brown University. Professor Silverman also serves on the International Advisory Board for CSI.
