Ireland funds great research…..A large advert was run by Science Foundation Ireland in Nature summarizing the current employment opportunities on SFI funded research projects. The Claude Shannon Institute was part of that advert.

Weekly Group Meetings
Weekly Group Meetings were held in UCD in the areas of Elliptic Curve Cryptography, Space Time Codes, Costas Arrays, Boolean Functions and LDPC Codes and Network Coding. Gary McGuire gave two talks on "the CM method" in the CSI ECC weekly meeting, on October 24 and October 31.
